About Stanford Arts
Stanford Arts is dedicated to increasing the visibility and impact of the arts at Stanford and beyond. In addition to offering interdisciplinary curricula, extracurricular programs, public exhibitions and performances, grants, and central resources for navigating the arts within the university, we catalyse interdisciplinary collaborations and dialogue through our visiting artist programs and Arts Incubator initiatives. Through these programs, we provide the opportunity for a mutually beneficial exchange between artists and Stanford’s community of scholars, practitioners, and students and a model for how artists can be situated in academic institutions to generate new directions in research, pedagogy, and practice.
