The Interdisciplinary Fellowship (IF) at the RSC fosters inclusive, resonant, and inspired culture through thought stewardship, knowledge exchange, and creative community.

About IF

Developed in partnership with UK and international collaborators, the Interdisciplinary Fellowships of RSC IF are a thought leadership programme – the study includes annual fellowships for artists, researchers and cultural workers responding to the cultural change needs of the performing arts sector and beyond. The inaugural annual cohort centred on historically underrepresented voices, and came together in Stratford-Upon-Avon in July 2024.

The Interdisciplinary Fellowships are part of a feasibility study initiated by the RSC, funded by the UKRI Arts and Humanities Research Council, as we develop and build a research centre.

As their research develops over the fellowship year kicking off in July 2024, fellows and collaborators will detail their learnings and outcomes. Come back soon to explore!
